drummers help me please?
I am caught between two sets to love. yamaha birch http://drums-percussion.musiciansfriend.com/product/-Stage-Custom-Birch-Drum-Set-with-20-Bass-Drum?sku=482451 i like the idea of the 20 "low because I am a small person, and I'd be better off tom. http://drums-percussion.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gretsch-Catalina-Maple-Fusion-Shell-Pack- Gretsch Maple-Black-with handle-with-free-16-Floor-Tom? sku = 484 086 i like this series because its maple, black, and comes with an extra tom. but tom probably end up selling more because I wouldnt use a lot. Can anyone give me their opinion on the set i should get? i play metal and post-hardcore on the road. I'm really thinking about all Gretsch, but i dont want to have to play awkwardly because of the big bass.
Gretsch maple all looks very nice. It has a 22 "under what would be perfect for a sound of metal and post-hardcore, and that kind of music that relies heavily on the hype. I can play that type of music too. I suggest you get a double bass pedal if any of these two sets, it will help your playing much. Also, the Gretsch is cheaper and if your planning on selling the floor tom free, that the savings would even more money. But it is his choice at the end. I hope I helped.
